DRAGON BOAT RACES

2023 Dragon Boat Race Recap

This year’s Dragon Boat Races featured new teams, a photo-finish championship race with a new winner and race medals hand-crafted by the potters at the Orion Art Center.

OMG (On a Mission from God) took first by .0056 seconds over Dragon Down Parkinsons!

Flossed at Sea grabbed 3rd Place, a team of free agents, Super Squad, won Best Costume, and Team Shark Attack won Best Team Spirit! For a 4th time, the drummer of Dragon Down Parkinsons took the Best Drummer award!

Thank you to all of the teams, volunteers, spectators, and Race Director, Rob Cavanagh, for another great year of Dragon Boat Racing!
