DRAGON SHOWDOWN

Now in its 2nd year, the Dragon Showdown is a Dragon Boat Race for high schoolers that takes place on Saturday, August 26th during the Dragon on the Lake festival.

Sports teams, clubs, friends + more are invited to compete for the title of Dragon Showdown champs! Great for team-building, team bonding and fun kick-off to the school year!

• Races take place on Saturday, August 26 at Green's Park
• Teams are made up of 20 paddlers, 1 drummer and 1 steerer (the steerer is provided by Great White North)
• Boats, life jackets and paddles are provided 
• Race goes on regardless of rain, but will be postponed during lightening and thunderstorms.
• Each race is 300 meters and takes 2-3 minutes to complete 
• Waivers must be signed by all participants.
• Teams can set up a 10x10 tent in Green’s Park and bring food and beverages. Don't forget the sunscreen!
• No alcohol is allowed in Green’s Park.
