DRAGON SHOWDOWN

The Dragon Showdown will return for its 5th year at the 2026 Dragon on the Lake on Saturday, August 29 in Green's Park and registration is opening soon!

Sports teams, clubs, friends + more are invited to compete for the title of Dragon Showdown champs! Great for team-building, team bonding and fun kick-off to the school year! This event is FREE for high school teams and clubs!

• Teams are made up of 10-21 people which includes 10-20 paddlers, 1 drummer and 1 steerer (the steerer is provided by Great White North)
• Boats, life jackets and paddles are provided 
• Race goes on regardless of rain, but will be postponed during lightening and thunderstorms.
• Each race is 300 meters and takes 2-3 minutes to complete 
• Waivers must be signed by all participants.
• Teams can set up a 10x10 tent in Green’s Park and bring food and beverages. Don't forget the sunscreen!
• No alcohol is allowed in Green’s Park.
